I''ve had the check engine light twice now on my 2005 SE and both times I fixed the issue by cleaning the MAF. Look into that first. Some electrical contact cleaner or MAF sensor cleaner is all you need and several minutes work.

However, the check engine light just came back on again and is reading the same code for the mass air flow sensor. Can someone please help?
The check engine light keeps coming on due to the same air flow problem. Every time car is scanned the code comes up as the mass air flow sensor. Since purchasing the car, I have replaced this sensor twice. I replaced the sensor on 7/8/19 approximately 4 weeks after purchasing the vehicle and then again on 10/10/18.
