Locate the Mass Air Flow Sensor, towards the back of the engine. Disconnect the wire harness plugged into the MAF. Press the tabs, one is on the top there is also another one on the bottom. You can’t see it on this picture. Remove the hose shows on the picture below. The hose will pull straight out. Push out the two plastic tabs shown below.

15/1/2019· This is a good time to replace the air filter. Inspect the MAF sensor. If it is obviously filthy, it may just need a good cleaning rather than replacement. Use MAF sensor cleaner only to clean the sensor, allow 10 minutes for it to dry, then put back together and see if that resolves your issues.
